A community to discuss tinnitus. There is no known cure for Tinnitus at all and it most likely will come back in the future. Over the past 12 months, I've managed to reduce my Tinnitus from a severity level of 10/10, where I couldn't sleep, to a 1/10, often forgetting I even have it. I am not under any delusion that it is gone completely because it came back after 9 months when I was very stressed out. Max volume just to help me fall asleep in class. Tinnitus is the hearing of sound when no external sound is present. In my mid 20s now, after about 2 years of practicing safe volume control and it essentially went away.
